How we work

We deliver business, environmental and social benefits, both to retailers and brands and to smallholder farmers and their communities.

WE DO THIS IN THREE WAYS

Strategy

+
Supply chain mapping and linkages

With dedicated supply chain specialists in key cotton origin markets and a proven approach to mapping supply chains, we identify opportunities and mitigate risks, along with providing a map of the supply chain actors.

+
Volume and Risk analysis

Looking at core value chains and mapping back from Tier 1 suppliers through to farm level, highlighting opportunities and risks. Using templates and tools to gather and analyse volume placement.

+
Sustainable Cotton strategy development

Consultancy and strategic programme management, including the measurable ROI in brand value of supporting sustainable cotton initiatives.

+
Employee engagement

Delivering employee workshops and site visits.

Sustainable Supply

+
Traceable

Bespoke, bottom-up traceability tool, our proprietary software tool provides visibility on the difficult to track last mile to the farmer transactions: verifying farm production against ginner procurement. Tested extensively in cotton markets, TraceBale ID data can be integrated into existing Yarn ID systems to provide an end-to-end view of your cotton supply chain.

+
Verification

End-to-end supply chain mapping and traceability of supply delivers reassurance on sustainable cotton supply. All REEL Cotton programmes can be 3rd party verified and we offer certification support for organic projects.

+
Sourcing programme

Encourages and supports supply chain partners in meeting your sustainability goals. Consultation for internal buying teams and supplier workshops.

+
Ginner Health & Safety training

Establishing improved working conditions in the ginning sector.

Environment and Livelihoods
